Surfing
You can surf and bodyboard (or learn to) at Surfers Beach and boards are available to rent in town. Locals on the waves are friendly and helpful to newbies.

Fishing Bonefishing – Eleuthera is a well kept secret amongst avid fly fishermen. There are many easy to reach bonefishing flats to to try your hand at these elusive grey ghosts. Excellent guides are also available.
Deep Sea – Spend a day (or half day) out on the beautiful azure waters and experience the thrill of catching barracuda, wahoo, shark, or maybe even a marlin or sailfish.
Caving Preachers Cave – Located near Spanish Wells, Preachers Cave is a perfect place to go if you like to experience old historical sites. This location was once used as a place of refuge for the Eleutheran Adventurers in 1647 after their ship wrecked on the Devils Backbone Reef. It involves no climbing or major hiking and also is close to a beautiful beach. Hatchet Bay Caves – Located near Gregory Town these caves are part of a long underground tunnel that is a home to hundreds of bats.
Cliff Jumping Longbight - This site is perfect for cliff jumpers of all levels. The smallest is ten feet, another is about 20 – 30 ft and the highest is around 50 feet. These cliffs are located in a cove near Gregory Town.
Beach Combing Eleuthera’s beautiful (and sometimes pink) beaches are known worldwide and there are just too many to mention them all. From Surfer’s Beach and Gaulding Cay which are closest to Gregory Town to Lighthouse Point which is at the most southern tip of the island, and extremely remote. You could spend weeks discovering a new beach every day ... and most you will find you will enjoy. Harbour Island & Spanish Wells These islands are on either side of North Eleuthera. Each can only be accessed by a 10 minute ferry ride and these are nice for day trips.
